In May, Herbalife Nutrition sponsored athlete Javier “Chicharito” Hernández visited Albergue Infantil Los Pinos, A.C., a Casa Herbalife Nutrition partner in Mexico. During his visit, Chicharito made a $10,000 donation on behalf of the LA Galaxy, the club where he currently plays.
“You should not feel that you are worth less because nobody is more or less, we are all worth the same,” said Chicharito while visiting the Casa. “Collaboration is to try to help people. They gave me the opportunity to come to this event in my city, in a shelter to be able to be with the kids, and if my presence and my voice help them, I am fortunate.”
Chicharito shared inspirational messages and even played football with the children of the Casa. The kids were very surprised and excited to have the football star visit.
“I still see myself as you, as a guy who dreams,” said Chicharito to the children.
