There’s a lot of great things going on in Mexico for the Herbalife Nutrition Foundation! First up, Aldeas Infantiles SOS, a Casa Herbalife Nutrition partner in MX, granted Herbalife Nutrition with a distinctive award for its role in helping transform the quality of life for children in need.
Aldeas Infantiles SOS provides care for children who have lost parental care and they also support efforts in keeping families together who are affected by violence, poverty, and crime in Mexico. Since 2021, HNF has partnered with Aldeas Infantiles and supported 280 children in vulnerable conditions across five states in Mexico.
“We are so grateful to be recognized with this award,” said Alma Olalde, Corporate Social Responsibility Manager in Mexico. “We are happy to help organizations like Aldeas Infantiles SOS. They do a very good job with providing care and support to children.”
In other news in Mexico, HNF provided transportation for 20 girls from the Casa Ministerios de Amor, A.C to participate in a Tackle Tomorrow sports camp led by NFL Hall of Famer Charles Haley. Tackle Tomorrow is a nonprofit organization that focuses on improving the reading level in Hispanic communities, while also inspiring youth to play sports.
A special thanks to the Herbalife Nutrition marketing team in Mexico who donated backpacks to the 20 girls from Casa Ministerios de Amor, A.C who participated in the sports camp.
