Healthy snack option? Children in Po Leung Kuk learn how to make healthy doughnuts

Our Executive team and employees from Herbalife Nutrition in Asia Pacific (APAC) planned a visit to Po Leung Kuk (PLK)[1], a Casa Herbalife in Hong Kong.

They had the opportunity to spend the day with over 20 children from 8 to 12 years old. They participated in different activities during the day, such as a fun dance class and a cooking class where they learned how to make healthy doughnuts.

The children were able to complete the recipe from scratch and at the end they decorated the doughnuts with white chocolate, fresh fruit and marshmallows! Before leaving, the employees gave the children a present: an HFF backpack and a teddy bear.

Our Herbalife Nutrition team in APAC showed us that innovation can come in many forms, and can also be connected to charity! They showed us how to add a little bit of creativity to volunteer activities, all while making a difference in the lives of children.
