Mary and Mario Barreiro (Mexico)
Herbalife Nutrition Foundation (HNF) awarded its 2011 Global Humanitarian Award to Mario and Mary Barreiro for their philanthropic efforts supporting their community.
The Barreiro’s are long-time supporters for a variety of causes, including charities that help children and adults living with HIV and AIDS, after school organizations that help to keep kids off the streets, and programs to improve nutrition for kids at risk.
They have also been major advocates of HNF and its Casa Herbalife program that supports nutrition programs for children around the world. In the last two years the Barreiro’s have spearheaded the expansion of both fundraising and funding for charitable organizations in Mexico.
